The Arthritis Foundation is pleased to welcome Tim Connelly and Sharon Duffy to its Leadership Council.
Tim Connelly is the owner of Home Instead Senior Care franchises, serving South Omaha, Sarpy and Cass Counties in Nebraska; as well as a franchise serving the Council Bluffs, Iowa area. Prior to purchasing the Home Instead businesses he spent nine years with the Global Headquarters of Home Instead. Tim received a Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University in mathematics.
Sharon Duffy, RN, MS, CRRN, is the Coordinator, Integrative Medicine at Madonna ProActive Health & Fitness. Sharon has over 40 years of nursing experience in a variety of clinical areas. She is currently managing a holistic cardiac rehabilitation program and teaching several holistic classes. Her passion is the study and design of attempting to live a high level of wellness life. During the past 20 years she has given many presentations and written many articles on the topic of Self-Care, emphasizing the importance of taking care of ourselves first, if we are to be healthy and competent care givers for others.
