Sue Korth Makes Becker’s Hospital Review Top 130 Women Leaders List

Becker’s Hospital Review (http://www.beckershospitalreview.com/130-women-hospital-and-health-system-leaders-to-know-2016/sue-korth-16.html) has published the 2016 edition of its list of “130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” and Sue Korth of Methodist Women’s Hospital was among those recognized.

Korth was one of three Nebraskans to make the list, with Jan Kleinhesselink of Lincoln and Kelly Driscoll of Norfolk also named. All recipients have demonstrated outstanding leadership and management throughout their careers, leading initiatives to improve their individual organizations’ quality, operational and financial performance, as well as the well-being of the communities they serve.

Serving as vice president and chief operating officer of Methodist Women’s Hospital since 2007, Korth has guided the campus to quickly become the regional leader in births and women’s health. The Women’s Hospital is coming off its most successful year since opening in 2010, with 5,413 births in 2015.

As the top administrator for the 126-bed facility, Korth oversaw the construction, implementation of services and hiring of personnel during the three year construction process. Korth has over 30 years of clinical and medical management experience, including five years as a clinical supervisor in high-risk OB/GYN at Methodist Hospital.
