Santa Monica House Promotes Madison Havel to Administrative Assistant

Madison Havel was recently promoted to administrative assistant at Santa Monica House (www.santamonicahouse.org), a halfway house designed exclusively for women who desire to live without the burdens of addiction. Madison has been at Santa Monica House for over two years. In her new position, she will handle the accounts receivable and payable, answer and direct incoming calls from the community, maintain organization of records for the agency, coordinate office operations, and interact with the residents at Santa Monica House.

Madison has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in fine arts. In her free time, you can find her caring for her plants, at the dog park, traveling, or making funky earrings out of clay. She is currently working towards her goal of being fluent in Spanish. Madison takes a lot of pride in fulfilling her purpose in life, which is serving others and creating art.

Founded in 1972, Santa Monica has partnered with over 3,000 women on their journey to recovery from addiction and alcoholism. Reuniting families, reintegrating productive women to the community, and providing exceptional service has been the vision of Santa Monica and continues to be for the future. Santa Monica provides a Halfway House program with a step-down level of care to a ¾ way house and an 11 unit apartment building for women and children.
