Robert Woodard has been named Market Vice President, Omaha. In this new company role, Woodard is designated as the local senior executive responsible for cross-functional engagement with employees, customers, community and business leaders. Additionally, Woodard is accountable for network maintenance and network reliability for Cox Central Region which spans five states.

“Robert Woodard is a dynamic industry leader with a track record of success,” stated Marilyn Burrows, Central Regional Senior Vice President and General Manager, “We are pleased that he has accepted this new role and know that he will have a favorable and lasting impact on our Omaha operations.”

Woodard started his Cox career in 2001 as Vice President of Sales and Customer Care in Kansas. From there, he served as Vice President of Field Operations for Gulf Coast and most recently served as the Vice President of Technical Operations for Field Services and Network Maintenance in Las Vegas.

Woodard earned his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University and holds an MBA from Auburn University.
