During the recent annual meeting at Physicians Mutual, President and CEO Robert A. Reed announced the following promotions and new officers.
Dave Hahn was promoted to vice president of enterprise technology group. He manages the company’s technology infrastructure and support area to meet the ongoing needs of the business. Hahn joined the company in 1980 and is a member of the company’s steering committee for its green initiative and belongs to the Forrester Information and Operations Council.
Steve Hughes was promoted to vice president of strategic implementation. He is responsible for the business implementation of new insurance products, as well as new business requirements and processes. Hughes joined the company in 1979 and holds the professional designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI).
Mark Peters was promoted to vice president of agency. He oversees the company’s sales division office operations, market conduct compliance and sales-based incentive programs. Peters began his career at the company in 2001 and holds the professional designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and is active in the community serving on various boards and volunteering for YMCA and United Way of the Midlands.
Nathan Coberly was appointed to assistant vice president of enterprise architecture and development. He joined the company in 2005 and currently leads the enterprise architecture function to maintain strategic alignment of our technology with business goals. Coberly also oversees the design and development of enterprise applications and solutions.
Walter Duda was appointed to assistant vice president of the direct marketing group. He oversees the outside list area which mails guaranteed issue life and dental products, in addition to third party clients. Duda joined the company in 1999.
Kim Lesinski was appointed to assistant vice president of the direct marketing group. She manages the television, radio and free-standing insert media programs. In addition, she ensures fulfillment of all leads generated from integrated marketing promotions.
