Erin Burke has joined the Papillion-La Vista Schools Foundation as Assistant Director of Development – Alumni and Public Relations Manager. This new position will provide leadership in reaching out to the districts over 20,000 alumni in Nebraska and around the country involving them in the Foundations’ ongoing efforts to support students and the tradition of educational excellence of the Papillion-La Vista School District. The Papillion-La Vista Schools Foundation is committed to helping connect alumni to their school and community, welcoming them back for reunions, homecoming and the Foundation’s Annual Gala – Hall of Fame Awards scheduled for August 23, 2014. Burke brings a solid track record of nonprofit work, education and building relationships, most recently serving as Executive Director for the Missouri Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The Papillion-La Vista Schools Foundation was formed 28 years ago to provide additional opportunities for students that would otherwise be unavailable.
