NNLA Recognizes Chris Meza of Meza Gardens as Certified Nurseryman
Chris Meza of Meza Gardens and Design (www.mezagardensanddesign.com) was recently recognized by the Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association (NNLA) as one of 2021’s new Certified Nursery and Landscape Professionals. The program was developed, designed, and is administered by the NNLA to identify the dedicated individuals who are knowledgeable and experienced in their vocation. Certified status is earned through practical experience in the industry, passing a three-part test reviewing the basics of the industry, and commitment to continuing education. The program was developed to address the public’s desire to better differentiate between the various skill levels of nursery and landscape professionals. It creates a higher level of certification specifically tailored to this profession and an opportunity to develop a higher level of professionalism among nursery and landscape professionals.
