MICAH House Welcomes Taylor Brown as Philanthropy Director
MICAH House (www.themicahhouse.org) is excited to have Taylor Brown join their leadership team in the role of philanthropy director. In her role, Brown will be responsible for advancing the mission of MICAH House through fundraising, community outreach, developing new community relationships and partnerships, promoting services, and spearheading new and existing fundraising initiatives to ensure programmatic development and overall client satisfaction.
Brown is an accomplished fundraising professional and comes to MICAH House with extensive experience in fundraising, grant writing, and direct service development and management in the education and health and human services industries. She was most recently with Kountze Commons, where she was executive director for nearly two years. Brown has also previously worked at Lutheran Family Services as a grant and report writer, and Nebraska Methodist College as student support services coordinator.
Founded in 1986, MICAH House is a transitional homeless shelter that serves families and women in the Omaha-metro area and southwest Iowa. MICAH House provides safe shelter, nutritious meals, health care access, and adult education classes as individuals seek a better tomorrow.
