For the next 10 months, Executive Director Ashley Flater will be attending Leadership Omaha class 46. The program focuses on community trusteeship, community awareness and strengthening leadership styles. MICAH House ( is very excited for this amazing investment in their leadership and mission.

As in the past, this year’s class was selected by a committee of Leadership Omaha alumni and Chamber board members. All honorees demonstrated strong community involvement and a compelling vision for the future of Omaha.

Founded in 1986, MICAH House ( is an emergency homeless shelter that serves women and families in the Omaha-Metro area and Southwest Iowa.
