Kristin came to McGill Law after serving over 15 years as a prosecutor with the Douglas County Attorney’s Office. Kristin’s knowledge of Juvenile Law and experience with the Board of Mental Health brings to the firm a compassionate understanding, commitment, advocacy and empathy for the individuals and families she serves as a family law attorney.
With a passion for justice and advocacy, Kristin has spent her career helping families navigate the legal system during some of their most difficult times. Kristin graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 1997 and received her law degree from Creighton University in 2000.
Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her three kids and her Chihuahua, Bruiser. When not busy with her legal practice or family obligations, Kristin’s guilty pleasure is binge-watching TV shows, which she finds to be a welcome escape from the demands of daily life.
