Marc Behrens of Farris Engineering Earns RCDD Certification

Congratulations to Farris Engineering (farris-usa.com) Information Systems & Technologies Manager, Marc Behrens, who passed the BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Exam. RCDD is one of the highest design credentials in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry and has only been around since 1984. Only about 7,500 people in the world have successfully passed the exam – with only 39 currently in Omaha.

Those who achieve the RCDD designation have demonstrated their knowledge in the creation, planning, integration, execution, and/or detailed-oriented project management of telecommunications and data communications technology. Marc will help guide the design on Farris’ projects as RCDD’s are sometimes required due to the complexity of technology and cabling infrastructure and often a requirement to bid on government contracts.

Marc has more than 20 years of experience in all facets of telecommunications, security, systems, and technology. When not at work, he can be found doing projects around his house, spending time with family and friends, and partaking in his children’s activities.
