La Vista Community Foundation Welcomes New Director Jill Lukes

The La Vista Community Foundation (www.lavistacommunityfoundation.com) recently brought on Jill Lukes as the new director. As a mom and a business owner, Jill is always making sure others are taken care of. After spending several years working for Medical Solutions, Jill decided to branch off with her own business called Get it Back. This business allows her to do a number of different jobs and implement problem-solving strategies, from helping someone re-arrange a closet to offering guidance in time management. Her experience through Get it Back has made it a natural transition for her into the director’s role for the foundation.

One area of expertise that Jill looks forward to bringing to the table is social media. She hopes to translate the skills she’s gained from promoting her own business to making the foundation more social media friendly, and therefore easier to connect with online. Other efforts she is pursuing to help the La Vista Community Foundation grow is doubling their list of partnerships with businesses. Jill would like to collaborate with the new City Centre to achieve their vision of bringing the community together.

The La Vista Community Foundation was founded in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to serve the community of La Vista by promoting and facilitating philanthropy through networking and the giving of grants. For nearly 15 years, they have been leaders of funding for the purpose of community betterment as they fulfill their mission, which is to improve the quality of life where people live, work, and play in La Vista. To learn more, visit www.lavistacommunityfoundation.com or contact Jill at (402) 960-9625 / info@lavistacommunityfoundation.com.
