John Drazic Begins Service as 2021 President of Millard Business Association

Banking and financial professional John Drazic this month kicks off his service as President of the Millard Business Association (millardbusinessassociation.org), after completing his term as president-elect in 2020. John will lead the nonprofit with the support of Past President Jill Schoenherr Melby, Treasurer Dana Anderson, Secretary Raina Garcia, President Elect David Englemeyer, and Vice President Roxy Starkey. The new Board will guide MBA in meeting the organization’s four core objectives: Promote, preserve, and enhance Millard-area commerce; develop active business-to-business networking among members; provide business-specific educational opportunities to members; and provide benevolent community programs.

“MBA is really a great organization with a small-town feel,” John said. “It’s a terrific way to build relationships with other business leaders in the area and support local causes and commerce. It’s all about helping meet local needs. For me, this is also an excellent opportunity to help the organization continue growing. I really want to help increase membership and membership engagement. Right now, it’s difficult to meet given pandemic restrictions so we need to focus on finding creative ways for members to engage with each other without necessarily being in the same room.”

Millard Business Association was formed in 2003 by a small group of Millard-area business owners and associates who recognized and developed opportunities for effective business networking and community development. The MBA is also highly involved with Millard schools and the community. For more information, visit millardbusinessassociation.org or email info@millardbusinessassociation.org.
