Hightower Reff Law is pleased to announce that Wesley Van Ert has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. Wesley will focus his practice on family law and criminal defense cases. Wesley Van Ert grew up in Norfolk, NE and moved to Omaha to attend college. Wesley earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2008 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Prior to law school, he worked for the State of Nebraska at the Youth Center in Kearney where he helped at-risk youth. Wesley attended law school at Creighton University and graduated in 2013. While at Creighton, he gained valuable practical experience working in the Milton Abrahams Legal Clinic. Wesley enjoys spending free time with his wife Kelly, participating in various outdoor activities and sports including running, biking, and tennis. While he has never once defeated his wife in a tennis match he aspires to do so before age prohibits either one from playing tennis.
