Nick Konen, chair of the Young Art Patrons (YAP) committee for Joslyn Art Museum, has been invited to serve as a member of the museum’s Board of Governors for 2013.  Konen is a marketing manager for HDR Architecture, Inc.  and has served on the YAP committee for three years. He was named chair of the committee in 2012, overseeing the group’s mission of providing young professionals with art education and exposure to the arts community.

Konen will serve as an ex-officio governor, representing the interests of a generation of art admirers between the ages of 21 and 40 who desire to foster a lifelong commitment to the arts.

Konen is an eight-year marketing veteran of HDR Architecture, where he has been part of the teams responsible for such Omaha architectural landmarks as the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, Salvation Army Kroc Community Center and Metropolitan Community College’s Institute of Culinary Arts.
