Tri-Faith Initiative (www.trifaith.org) Executive Director Wendy Goldberg was named a finalist for the Visionary Inspire Award which was awarded on October 26 at the CHI Health Center. At the same time, Dr. Maryanne Stevens, RSM, PhD, immediate past chair and current member of the Tri-Faith Initiative Board of Directors, was named as a finalist for both the top honors of Woman of the Year and the Excellence in Education award.
Wendy Goldberg’s nomination for this honor comes as no surprise. Since 2006, Wendy has contributed her money, time, passion, talent, and perspective to Tri-Faith Initiative. She has worked with clergy, lay leaders, social sector and nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and local educators to make interfaith cooperation a social norm.
Dr. Maryanne Stevens’ 25 years of service as president of College of Saint Mary is chock-full of impressive feats. According to an official announcement by the college regarding her retirement, Stevens has positively altered the institution’s trajectory since taking the helm in 1996, transforming it into the thriving, financially sound institution it’s known as today.
The Tri-Faith Initiative staff, Board of Directors, and Faith Partners are beyond proud of these two inspiring women’s accomplishments, thankful for their vision, and indebted to their contributions. For more information about the Tri-Faith Initiative, visit www.trifaith.org.
