Gerry Phelan Elected to Chair Position for SCORE Greater Omaha

Gerry Phelan has been elected to the chairman position for the Greater Omaha SCORE Chapter (www.omaha.score.org) for the 2018-19 year. Gerry has been a SCORE member since 2008 and served as the vice chair for two years. Phelan will be charting the direction for the SCORE Chapter, recruiting new members and directing the services provided to SCORE members.

Phelan states: “I am honored to be elected to this position and look forward to supporting the SCORE clients who may be new entrepreneurs or small business owners looking for assistance in running and growing their businesses.”

SCORE has two locations, one in the SBA building located at the SBA office at 10675 Bedford Ave. STE 100 and one downtown in the Rail and Commerce Village at 950 Mason St.

SCORE is a national, all volunteer, not-for-profit resource partner of the US Small Business Administration (SBA) that provides no cost counseling, mentoring and workshop training to entrepreneurs starting a business and ongoing small businesses helping them grow and prosper. The SCORE Greater Omaha chapter works very closely with the local SBA and other SBA partners.
