First Responders Foundation Welcomes Malorie Maddox to Board of Directors

The First Responders Foundation is proud to welcome Malorie Maddox to their Board of Directors. Malorie is the chief marketing, communications, and strategy officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. In that role, she leads the internal and external communications, digital marketing, advertising and brand, corporate social responsibility, wellness, and insights teams. She also serves as executive sponsor of their Diversity and Inclusion Business Group.

Previously, Maddox spent 20 years as an award-winning journalist. She has been recognized with numerous Associated Press and Nebraska Broadcast Association awards, including an Emmy nomination for her 30-minute special, “Mothers Who Kill.” She has emceed more than 500 events for organizations in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas and also presented as a keynote speaker and panelist at events throughout the Heartland.

Malorie’s experience in communications, marketing, advertising, branding, and journalism will be helpful as the First Responders Foundation seeks to expand its reach to first responders, veterans, and their families, as well as to donors and volunteers. Malorie also has a passion for storytelling. Storytelling the heroics of first responders will assist as the Foundation works toward the mission of building appreciation and respect for first responders and their work.
