In October, Chris Burkert rejoined Farris Engineering (www.farris-usa.com) as an electrical designer. He brings with him over 25 years of experience in fire sprinkler system, HVAC, and plumbing design in addition to project management, estimating, and construction administration. Chris earned both his associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in architectural and building engineering technology from Vermont Technical College.
Previously at Farris, Chris designed mechanical systems for projects including federal buildings, military bases, K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. In his new role as an electrical designer, he will work with senior electrical designers and gain knowledge to help create electrical plans for clients. Chris’ interests outside of work include watching movies and documentaries.
