Doug Nodgaard, Community Bank President of Equitable Bank, is pleased to announce that Joe Dobrovolny will serve as Vice President/Mortgage Lending Officer in its Omaha branch.  Dobrovolny joined Equitable Bank in Grand Island in 1999.  He has nearly 25 years of lending experience and will continue to provide mortgages, loans to first time home buyers, refinancing for current properties, or lines of credit in addition to commercial and consumer loans.  Dobrovolny has also served as the Security Officer for Equitable Bank and will continue on in that role.  While in Grand Island, Dobrovolny served on the Board of Trustees for the St. Francis Foundation, and was involved with the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce, Third City Sertoma, St. Leo’s Parish Council, and Knights of Columbus.  He also graduated from the Hall County Leadership Tomorrow program.  Dobrovolny received his business degree from the University of Nebraska – Kearney.  He and his wife, Pam, have a daughter and two sons, and reside in Papillion.
