Douglas County Health Center Promotes Molly Motsinger
Douglas County Health Center (dchc.douglascounty-ne.gov) is excited to announce that Molly Motsinger, who has worked at Douglas County Health Center for four years as a treating therapist and the manager of the Therapy Program, was recently named manager of the Short Term Rehabilitation program located at the 4102 Woolworth Ave. location in Omaha.
Molly Motsinger has been passionate about helping others since she was just a teenager. When she was 15 years old, the Gretna, NE native started her healthcare career as a dietary assistant. She has also worked as a certified nursing assistant and medication aide. Motsinger has a physical therapy degree from Clarkson College and a bachelor’s degree in gerontology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She’s currently working toward a master’s degree in gerontology from UNO.
“While I have several goals for our program, my priority is patient satisfaction,” Motsinger commented. “I also plan to focus on staff recruitment and marketing so the community is aware that we have an incredible, five-star short-term rehab program in the midtown area.”
Motsinger said some of the amenities of the Health Center’s Short Term Rehab program include private, luxurious rooms, an on-site pharmacy, and a dedicated staff committed to each patient’s recovery.
