The Community Foundation for Western Iowa (givewesterniowa.org) is pleased to announce the appointment of new board members, Christina Bateman of Atlantic, Iowa, and Kevin Cabbage of Stanton, Iowa, to its 14-member board of dedicated community members and leaders committed to improving the lives of all residents in western Iowa.
Bateman is a realtor with Meyer and Gross Real Estate Co. in Atlantic, and is passionate about serving her community. She is a member and past president of the Atlantic Rotary Club, is founder and president of Faith’s Friends, serves on the Atlantic YMCA board, is a committee chair for the Ann W. Wickman Child Development Center, and co-founder and president of Vision Atlantic Inc.
Cabbage is the chief executive officer at Farmers Mutual Telephone Company in Stanton and is involved in numerous community organizations, some of which include: Stanton Child Resource Center board member, chairman of the City of Stanton Vision committee and board of trustee member at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.
