Clearwater Counseling (clearwatercounselingpc.org) is excited for Jessica Smith, LIMHP, CMSW, as she celebrates four years with Clearwater Counseling, PC! Jessica joined Clearwater Counseling with the opening of the Omaha location in July 2019.
In April, Jessica received her Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner certification. This certification of licensure is obtained after earning 3,000 hours of post-master’s experience in mental health practice and passing a National Clinical Examination of 200 questions. This new certification allows Jessica to independently provide counseling services, independently diagnose major mental illnesses and use psychotherapy with clients suspected of having major emotional or mental disorders. Those at Clearwater Counseling are so incredibly proud of Jessica and could not imagine Clearwater Counseling without her!
Clearwater Counseling utilizes various evidenced-based therapeutic techniques and theoretical approaches to serve clients in the following specialties: addictions, anger management, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, depression, divorce/blended family issues, grief and loss, life adjustments/stress management, major mental illness, parenting and attachment trauma, relationship/codependency, self-esteem, trauma and PTSD and work/life balance.
