Child Saving Institute (CSI) (childsaving.org) is pleased to announce Patti Pagel as the new Site Director at the Spellman Child Development, managed by Child Saving Institute and located on the College of Saint Mary campus. With over 25 years of experience in early childhood education, she is dedicated to helping children and families thrive while supporting teachers in reaching their potential.
As CSI continues to enhance its educational offerings, they are thrilled to announce their new Pre-K program for children ages 4-6, focusing on kindergarten readiness with a strong emphasis on literacy. Enrolling now at Spellman and Dodge St. locations, this innovative, project-based learning approach allows children to engage with subjects that spark their curiosity, ensuring relevant and meaningful learning experiences.
The Pre-K program features:
- Literacy-rich activities to enhance reading, writing and comprehension skills
- Integrated learning opportunities with a focus on social skills, math and creativity
- Strong foundations for a successful transition into kindergarten
CSI’s Pre-K program is the next step to prepare children for kindergarten.
Like all of CSI’s early childhood education classrooms, providing care for children 6 weeks to 6 years old, the new Pre-K program also provides unique wraparound services, such as KidSquad support for children, caregivers and teachers, mental health services and other programs to ensure continuity of care for children and families, providing a supportive and nurturing environment like no other
