Child Saving Institute (CSI) (childsaving.org) is proud to announce the addition of Kristina Norwood to their team. Kristina, Program Director of Early Childhood Education, brings over 24 years of diverse experience in education to CSI. Driven by her passion for high-quality early childhood programs, Kristina’s commitment to excellence makes her an invaluable asset to the organization.
Having held various positions such as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, program evaluator and preschool consultant, Kristina’s extensive background has honed her expertise in identifying the key components of successful early childhood education. Her dedication to open communication and setting clear goals fosters a collaborative environment that consistently aims to provide the best support for children and families.
In addition to her dedication to Early Childhood Education, Kristina is excited about the ongoing construction, expansion and renovation of CSI’s Early Childhood Education center. With more space, newly designed classrooms and enhanced facilities, the center will provide an enriching experience for young learners. CSI is currently enrolling preschoolers and toddlers at the Dodge St. and Spellman centers. Kristina and the entire CSI team are eager to continue offering high-quality education designed to nurture children’s growth and development.
CSI is dedicated to the prevention, intervention and healing of child abuse, neglect and trauma. For 132 years, CSI has been working to “Champion what’s best for each child and family” and meeting the changing needs of metro area children. CSI served more than 3,066 children and families in 2023.
