CHAD of Nebraska Hires Shonda Shirley as New Director of Community Engagement
CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive; www.chadnebraska.org) of Nebraska is pleased to announce the hiring of Shonda Shirley as its new director of community engagement. Shirley comes to CHAD after collaborating with Michelle Grossman, CHAD president and CEO, during Shirley’s tenure as a fundraising director with United Way of the Midlands. Additionally, her numerous years in pharmaceutical sales sparked her passion for helping to ensure Nebraskans have improved access to healthcare, treatment, programs, and services. This is also when she realized her love of chemistry, and she has tutored high school students in 12 school districts throughout Omaha. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two-year-old Havanese pup.
“Shonda is a great addition to our team,” said Grossman. “We are excited to work with her to raise additional funds for our 21 member health charities and strengthen our partnerships with United Ways across the state.”
CHAD is a local, donor-designation driven organization that has been raising funds for Nebraska’s premier health charities since 1972. Since its inception, CHAD has raised $58,159,054 for charities who are supporting those in need in the community.
