Centris Federal Credit Union (www.centrisfcu.org) is pleased to announce the hiring of Julie Strohfus, vice president, products; Ryan L. Meyer, vice president, business banker; and Zach West, mortgage loan originator.

Strohfus brings 19 years of credit union experience to Centris. She began her career as a Loan Processor for Cobalt Credit Union (formerly SAC Federal Credit Union) where she ascended to her most recent role as vice president of indirect and consumer lending. In her new role at Centris, she will evaluate the products currently offered to establish the greatest benefits for their membership along with looking at the potential new products to keep Centris competitive. Strohfus has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a Master of Arts in Management from Bellevue University. She is active in the Omaha community having served the Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She serves on the Community Foundation for Western Iowa’s Mental Health Steering Committee and Heartland Family Service where she is the chairman of the Board of Directors.

Meyer has 17 years in the banking industry and 11 years working as a commercial lender. Most recently, Meyer managed a diverse $65 million loan portfolio that included over 150 client relationships. Prior to Centris, Meyer worked as vice president, commercial lender; credit analyst; personal banker; and teller. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is also a United States military veteran having served in the Army and Nebraska National Guard. Meyer served on the Sarpy County YMCA Board of Directors for the past seven years.

West has experience with multiple mortgage loan products including Conventional, FHA, USDA(RD), VA, and NIFA. Previous to becoming a mortgage loan officer, he was employed as the flight locating manager, director of safety at Trego-Dugan Aviation for nearly eight years. West holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and is a member of the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce.
