Centris Federal Credit Union is proud to announce five leadership promotions that reflect the organization’s continued investment in innovation, service excellence, and employee development. Julie Morris has been promoted to assistant vice president, digital banking; Blake Grooters to assistant vice president, facilities; Justin Norton to vice president, underwriting; Julie Hoefs to assistant vice president, loan processing operations; and Robin Fredieu to Director of Learning & Development.

Julie Morris, a 14-year member of the Centris team, has played a central role in shaping the Credit Union’s digital banking strategy. After helping launch the digital branch in 2013 and serving as digital branch manager during two major organizational conversions, she spent a year in technology services before returning in 2021 to lead Centris’ digital innovation efforts. Under her leadership, the Credit Union transformed the digital account-opening and loan-application experiences, resulting in increased membership and deposits.

Blake Grooters has been an integral contributor to Centris for 30 years. His career includes roles ranging from teller to technology services before overseeing facilities in 2012. Grooters has since managed the remodel or construction of nearly every Centris location and has been instrumental in shaping their branch growth strategy. His pride in maintaining safe, welcoming, and high-quality facilities has shaped the member and employee experience across the Centris footprint.

Justin Norton joined Centris in 2023 and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical excellence, having been instrumental in building and administering Centris’s credit risk data analytics tool, significantly improving insight, efficiency, and decision-making capabilities. He also provided strong leadership to the retail, indirect, and mortgage underwriting teams, strengthening their performance and advancing their overall operational effectiveness.

Julie Hoefs joined Centris in 2022 as consumer processing manager, bringing nearly two decades of experience across mortgage, commercial/agriculture, equipment finance, consumer lending, and government loan programs. Her background in both processing and servicing has enabled her to streamline operations, strengthen compliance, manage key vendor relationships, and enhance system functionality.

Robin Fredieu joined Centris in 2013 as an organization development training specialist and has been a dedicated and influential asset for the organization. Promoted to training manager in 2021, Fredieu brings more than 30 years of banking and training experience and is known for her positive leadership, expert facilitation, and ability to elevate corporate initiatives, employee readiness, and organizational engagement.

“These five leaders exemplify Centris Federal Credit Union’s values and dedication to serving its members, employees, and communities,” said Ann Helm, executive vice president, chief experience officer. “Their promotions reflect the Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to empowering talent and driving organizational progress.”
