Catherine Lang Reelected to 2nd Term on MLCDC Board of Directors

Catherine Lang was recently reelected to a second term on the Board of Directors for the Midlands Latino Community Development Corporation (MLCDC) (www.midlandslatinocdc.org). She serves as Board secretary and the chair of the Nomination Committee.

Lang is the state director for the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC), a program funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration housed on the University of Nebraska Omaha campus. She leads the statewide outreach for NBDC and works to build new collaborative efforts across all four campuses of the University of Nebraska to support the University’s economic development mission for the state.

Previously, Lang was employed by the State of Nebraska for almost 33 years, holding positions as the director of Nebraska Department of Economic Development, commissioner of labor, Nebraska property tax administrator, and deputy tax commissioner. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As an involved state and community leader, Lang is a member of several local and state philanthropic and community organizations.
