Business Ethics Alliance Welcomes Patrick Leahy as Director of Resources & Development

Beverly Kracher, Ph.D., CEO and executive director of the Business Ethics Alliance (the Alliance; www.businessethicsalliance.org), is pleased to announce the hire of Patrick Leahy. Patrick has more than six years in fundraising and development consulting. He joins the Alliance after working for the Steier Group, as a vice president, where he managed multimillion-dollar capital campaigns across the country, including the Archdiocese of Omaha’s successful Ignite the Faith Capital Campaign.

Patrick has served in community engagement and public policy roles for elected officials in Nebraska and the U.S. Senate. As an elected official on the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District Board from 2013 to 2018, he oversaw all District programs and project activities, which included the District’s mission budget of $83 million.

Patrick was born and raised in Omaha. He is a member at St. James parish and volunteers with many charitable organizations and community boards. He has a distinguished career in the U.S. Army Reserve where he serves as an intelligence officer. His hobbies include ice-hockey, listening to podcasts, reading nonfiction, and travel of any kind. Patrick and his wife Emily are expecting their first child in October 2019.
