Barb Farho with YES Selected to Participate in NAM’s Nonprofit Executive Institute
Barb Farho, director of development at Youth Emergency Services (YES; yesomaha.org), was recently selected to participate in the upcoming class of the Nonprofit Association of the Midland’s (NAM) Nonprofit Executive Institute (NEI). NEI is an 11-month leadership program designed to equip nonprofit leaders with skills and strategies to enhance organizational sustainability and transform the communities they serve. It is intended for people in nonprofit leadership positions who want to expand their professional network and enhance tactical skills as well as expand their network.
Barb joined YES in 2018 and brought more than 25 years’ experience in management, fundraising, community service, and public relations to her role. Before joining YES, Barb served as senior director at United Way of the Midlands where she led a team of marketing and communications professionals. An active community volunteer, Barb has served on many boards, committees, and associations for organizations such as Collective for Youth, YMCA, Kids Can, and Heartland Family Service.
