Bankers Trust (bankerstrust.com) announced that Scott Leighton has been named the next Nebraska Market President. Leighton joined Bankers Trust in 2018, serving as a senior commercial relationship manager.
“Scott has been an integral part of Bankers Trust’s commercial lending team in Omaha and has played a significant role in helping us grow from a loan production office to full-service bank,” said Samantha Mosser, president of Bankers Trust. “Scott has built strong relationships with our customers, and I am confident he will continue building on the bank’s momentum in this market.”
Leighton’s promotion follows Mosser’s appointment as president of Bankers Trust and her relocation to the bank’s headquarters in Des Moines earlier this summer.
An Omaha native, Leighton has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Xavier University.
