Pediatric Dental Specialists (pdsomaha.com) are settling into their newly renovated space. The office has recently put in new flooring, paint, artwork, and TVs to make the perfect space for children and their parents to feel safe and excited to go to the dentist.
When people arrive at the office, they are greeted with bright colors and unique artwork. Disney movies and children’s music fill the air and are played on the TVs in the ceiling above each dental chair. Children’s games are in the waiting room and children are encouraged to come early and play the games to get acquainted with their environment. For a child’s first dental visit, they are brought in for a knee-to-knee exam with their guardian up until the point when they are comfortable, confident, and ready for the big kid dental chair.
Pediatric Dental Specialists is currently accepting new patients. They recommend children be scheduled for their first dental visit by their first birthday or when they get their first tooth, whichever comes first.
