Outlook Enrichment (outlooken.org) is excited to embrace the holiday cheer with their Color Outside the Lines: Gingerbread Houses event, which will take place on Saturday, December 17 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at their office (4125 S 72nd St.). Each gingerbread house will cost $10. Once you have purchased your gingerbread house, Outlook Enrichment will provide everything you’ll need to deck the halls of your delicious house- from gum drops, graham crackers, and icing. This event is for all ages and any friends or family members with vision loss. The more the merrier! Outlook Enrichment is a nonprofit that provides resources and support to those with vision loss so they can remain independent. The Enrichment team assesses all factors in a person’s life to determine possible beneficial services. Through a holistic approach, they examine their consumers through many lenses, including the type and onset of vision loss, skill sets, family dynamics, culture, and much more. This approach helps them ensure their participants are capable and prepared for every aspect of life.
