Youth Emergency Services (YES, yesomaha.org) is thrilled to be an award recipient of Front Porch Investments’ Development and Preservation Fund, made possible through a matching partnership with the City of Omaha. This award will further efforts to provide support to the Greater Omaha community as their work aligns with the City of Omaha and Front Porch Investments’ priorities to increase and catalyze affordable housing units, grow capacity for supportive programs, initiate new pilots and programs, support inaugural projects brought by new and emerging developers and leverage federal funding across the community.

As the only nonprofit in Omaha with the sole mission of helping homeless and nearly homeless youth, YES provides human trafficking survivor support, job readiness classes, intensive case management, mental health services, nursing services, homeless prevention services and community connections.

Youth Emergency Services provides housing and support to youth experiencing instability, crisis and homelessness. It is their goal to help youth and young adults in crisis get back on their feet in whatever ways they can. After meeting their immediate needs for food, shelter, clothing and safety, they create a support system that helps them flourish. For more information, go to yesomaha.org or @yes_omaha on Instagram.
