Youth Emergency Services (YES, yesomaha.org), a leading organization providing housing and support to youth experiencing instability, crisis and homelessness, is thrilled to announce the launch of its $28 million capital campaign for the YES Residential Campus.
After 50 years of employing a scattered site housing model, YES is embarking on a transformative journey with the YES Residential Campus. This ambitious project will revolutionize the care provided to young people experiencing homelessness and set the stage for another 50 years of impactful service.
Currently at 63% of the fundraising goal, YES has raised $17.7 million. The organization seeks to secure the remaining $10.3 million through a unique opportunity with a 1:2 challenge match from the Lozier Foundation. With the Lozier Foundation pledging $2 million upon reaching $4 million raised by July 1, multi-year pledges are encouraged to activate this match.
Additionally, YES has secured $2 million from the NSORG – Placemaking opportunity through DED, leaving $2 million to unlock the match and $6.2 million to reach 100% of the goal. Upon reaching the match, YES will be at 77% of its fundraising objective.
The YES Residential Campus will provide a safe, supportive environment where youth can thrive and build brighter futures. Community support is vital to realizing this vision.
