Youth Emergency Services (YES, www.yesomaha.org) is thrilled to be celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2024 as well as the launch of their Capital Campaign. Moving from nine scattered site locations to one centralized residential campus, YES will more than double the youth they are able to serve in a year. With 40 affordable housing units and an expanded street outreach center, this residential campus will make a huge difference in the experience in homelessness and near-homelessness youth in Omaha.
YES broke ground on the residential campus on November 27. This groundbreaking marks the public phase of their residential campus campaign, with 55% raised.
For more information about the residential campus, reach out to Andy Saladino, Director of Development, via email at asaladino@yesomaha.org or phone at (402) 345-5187. More information can also be found at www.50yearsofyes.org.
Youth Emergency Services is the only nonprofit in Omaha with the sole mission to help youth experiencing instability, crisis, homelessness and near-homelessness by providing critically-needed resources which support them in their desire to be self-sufficient. It is their goal to help youth and young adults in crisis get back on their feet in whatever ways they can. After meeting their immediate needs for food, shelter, clothing and safety, they create a support system that helps them flourish. Last year, YES provided support and services to more than 305 youth in the Omaha metro area. Learn more about YES at www.yesomaha.org.
