The YMCA of Greater Omaha (metroymca.org) is thrilled to announce its Days of Giving on March 3 and 4—a city-wide celebration of generosity and community impact. Over the course of 48 hours, their 13 YMCA locations and Early Learning Centers will unite to raise over $60,000 as they kick off the public phase of our 2025 Strong Communities Campaign.
This vital fundraising initiative aims to secure more than $700,000 in contributions, ensuring their YMCA scholarship program remains accessible to all, regardless of background or income. Every dollar raised fuels the YMCA’s mission to strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
“Annually, the YMCA provides over $1 million in support, building brighter futures and connecting families across Nebraska and Iowa,” said Rebecca Deterding, YMCA President & CEO. “Our Days of Giving are a chance for everyone to come together and make an immediate impact.”
With programs and services that reach every corner of our community, from childcare to wellness programs, the YMCA is committed to being a place where everyone belongs. This March, they invite you to be part of something bigger by joining them for Days of Giving.
