Women’s Center for Advancement to Honor Six at 25th Anniversary Tribute to Women

Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA) has selected six honorees to be recognized at its annual Tribute to Women event on Tues., June 5, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel and Convention Center.   This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Tribute to Women, and in honor of this occasion, WCA will be paying a retrospective tribute to the past women leaders in Omaha in addition to the six distinguished honorees of today.

The 2012 Honorees are: Ellie Archer, Executive Director, Women’s Fund of Omaha; The Honorable Elizabeth Crnkovich, Judge of the Separate Juvenile Court of Douglas County; Beth Dotan, Executive Director, Institute for Holocaust Education; Diane Duren,
Vice President and General Manager – Chemicals, Union Pacific Railroad; Cynthia K. Gooch, Ph. D., Associate Vice President for Equity and Diversity, Metropolitan Community College and Anne Thorne Weaver, Community Philanthropist.
