Community members are invited to donate baby wipes to Educare of Omaha, Inc. (www.educareomaha.org) during the Winter “Wipe” Out Donation Drive this February. Collection opportunities will be available all month long.
“Educare of Omaha, Inc. serves over 600 children each day. That’s a lot of diaper changes,” Executive Director Rafel O. Hart said. “Last year, our organization needed over 228,076 wipes to keep our infants, toddlers and preschoolers clean and healthy!”
To participate in the drive, community members can drop-off baby wipes at Early Learning Center at Kennedy (3200 N 30th St.), or at a drive host site (visit www.educareomaha.org/winterwipeout for a list). A virtual drive, allowing people to shop from home and ship directly to Educare of Omaha, Inc., is also available at www.educareomaha.org/winterwipeout.
“With help from the community, we can make sure our children are prepared each day to play and learn,” Hart said.
