Wear Yellow Nebraska’s East-West Groveler Gravel Race October 16
Wear Yellow Nebraska (www.wearyellownebraska.org) is presenting its third annual East-West Groveler Gravel Race on Saturday, October 16, at 10 a.m. in Ashland. If you’re up for a little competition between friends while supporting a great cause, this event is just for you! Using the Platte River as the divide, register for a team (either East or West, depending on which side of the river you live) by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 15, to participate. Once registration closes, team size will be set by the lowest number of participates signed up for the East or West team.
The team with the lowest number of points wins! Finishers receive a point equal to their finish position based on the finishing time. As a bonus for some of their diehard riders, a point will be subtracted for single speed category, fat tire, and, to encourage the ladies to join in on riding some gravel, female team finishers.
Wear Yellow Nebraska is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a clear focus on niche initiatives that offered cancer survivors support in ways that were not being addressed and for people who would otherwise fall through the cracks, truly caring for an individual’s special circumstances.
