Wear Yellow Nebraska’s 18th Annual Wear Yellow Ride, Run, and Walk Set for August 14
Wear Yellow Nebraska (www.wearyellownebraska.org) is presenting its 18th Annual Wear Yellow Ride, Run, and Walk on Saturday, August 14 at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland beginning at 7 a.m. One hundred percent of the proceeds support Wear Yellow Nebraska’s cancer fighting and cancer patient assistance programs. This event specifically supports the Wear Yellow Cab Ride Program and the Wear Yellow Grant Program. The cost to register is $45, which is open through to the day of the event.
From a short cruise down the highway to a scenic loop over hills and countryside, you can experience the very best of summer in rural Nebraska. Distances offered include: 25, 35, 45, and 55 mile options for those craving roads, a new 27 mile beginners gravel option and 53 mile experienced gravel option for the less formal roads, and a 5K run and walk through Mahoney State Park.
Wear Yellow Nebraska is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a clear focus on niche initiatives that offered cancer survivors support in ways that were not being addressed and for people who would otherwise fall through the cracks, truly caring for an individual’s special circumstances.
