Wear Yellow Nebraska Hits Halfway Mark of Participants for Annual Ride, Run & Walk
Wear Yellow Nebraska’s 17th Annual Wear Yellow Ride, Run & Walk is still on for Saturday, August 15, at Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland and, so far, over 250 participants have registered which is halfway to the organization’s goal of 500 total participants. Due to safety precautions, Wear Yellow Nebraska is capping the registration of this event at 500, and they anticipate filling every spot. So anyone who is interested in being a part of this amazing event—cyclists, runners, and walkers alike—are encourage to register today! Registration is available online until midnight on August 10 and the t-shirt cutoff is August 1 at 5 p.m.
Each registration provides two rides to a fellow Nebraskan in the fight against cancer who does not have adequate transportation to and from their treatments. Additionally, there will be a variety of events taking place after the event. Riders and walkers/runners are encouraged to stick around after the race for breakfast by the Pancake Man, Wear Yellow’s Legendary Raffle, and dozens of door prizes. Each paid registration will also be given free access to the museum following the race. Non-participants can also enjoy breakfast for $5.
