The 26th Annual vinNEBRASKA Wine Event raised $330,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities (www.rmhcomaha.org) in Omaha. vinNEBRASKA is a grand celebration of great wines, internationally recognized winemakers, gourmet food and amazing auction packages for wine collectors and enthusiasts of all kinds. Special thanks to Title Sponsor Nebraska Medicine, Premier Partner Methodist Women’s Hospital, and Presenting Sponsor Mutual of Omaha Bank.
The event was on Saturday, May 2 at Ramada Plaza Omaha. Attendees had the chance to sample hundreds of wines and visit with 24 renowned vineyards. Wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres were served while guests bid on packages in the silent auction and purchased wine at the Wine Boutique and Mystery Wine Pull. The program included a live grand auction of thirty-plus items from the participating vintners, including a number of very exclusive wines, trips to the wineries and other destinations. Mike LaPoint, of WOWT, was Emcee.
Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.
