Video Campaign to Raise Awareness, Highlight Work of Project Harmony
Project Harmony (projectharmony.com) will be sharing videos throughout the day on May 23 coinciding with this year’s Omaha Gives! day of giving campaign. The videos will feature kids challenging Project Harmony staff, executives, and agency partners to silly challenges in order to help them reach, if not exceed, their fundraising goal of $40,000! Videos will be shared on the Project Harmony Facebook page – be sure to tune in throughout the day.
A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds. Right here in our community Project Harmony is seeing an increase in the number of children served. This doesn’t mean that Omaha has more abuse than any other part of the country. This does mean that our community is becoming more aware and making that call on behalf of a child. The cycle of abuse does not have to continue. There is hope. Communities are coming together, pooling their resources and making a difference. Your contribution during Omaha Gives! allows you to become part of the solution – ensuring hope, health, and resilience for children and families in need. To help end child abuse, consider donating to Project Harmony this year at omahagives.org.
