United Way of the Midlands (UWM) (unitedwaymidlands.org) will host its 2025 annual meeting, “United is the Way,” on Monday, October 27, at the CHI Health Center – Grand Ballroom. The festivities will kick off with a coffee and networking time from 11 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the program from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During the event, UWM will share the significant impact of donor investments and volunteer efforts in the community and recognize corporate partners and individuals who have gone above and beyond to support United Way’s work in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area.

Ten organizations will be recognized for their generous support during the 2024 campaign with the Campaign Partner Awards, and Jack and Stephanie Koraleski will be honored as United Way of the Midlands’ 2025 Citizens of the Year.

“Our annual meeting is the perfect setting to celebrate the many organizations and individuals who support our campaigns, allowing us to do the work we do, help those who need it most and make the metro stronger,” said Shawna Forsberg, president and CEO of United Way of the Midlands. “We are truly grateful for the caring spirit that runs deep in our community, and it’s our honor to recognize those who make a difference for thousands of people in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro every day.”
