Autism Action Partnership’s (AutismAction.org) Prosper Workforce Services, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $50,000 grant from United Way of the Midlands. This generous funding will be distributed over two years and will significantly enhance the program’s ability to support and prepare autistic individuals for meaningful employment, as well as provide skilled and reliable employees for area businesses.

The grant will enable Prosper Workforce Services to expand its services, providing tailored job training, placement assistance and ongoing support to autistic adults seeking to enter or advance in the workforce and their employers. This funding is crucial in addressing the gaps in employment opportunities and ensuring that these individuals have the tools and resources necessary to succeed.

“We are incredibly grateful to United Way of the Midlands for their support and commitment to our mission,” said Marcia Prideaux, Program Director of Prosper Workforce Services.

By considering neurodiverse candidates through Prosper Workforce Services, companies can tap into a largely underutilized talent pool, addressing skill shortages and enhancing workforce capability.
