Two Men And a Truck concluded their Movers for Moms donation drive April 30, 2011 for women living in shelters on Mother’s Day because of domestic violence or homelessness. Donation boxes were left at Alegent Health, all Hy-Vee food stores and all YMCA locations in the greater Omaha area. More than 15,000 items were donated which included clothing and furniture as well as basic needs items such as deodorant and toothpaste and delivered to the YWCA on Monday May 2.

The drive was such as huge success the YWCA was able to share with the Salvation Army, Phoenix House, The Shelter and Safe Haven domestic violence programs.
