Together Omaha, the area’s leading non-profit homeless prevention agency for over 30 years, has announced that its new headquarters at 812 S 24th St. began internal construction this week and is scheduled for completion by Thanksgiving.

“With our receipt of Omaha’s only federal grant to assist the area’s homeless veterans at risk of homelessness, and our new partnerships with ConAgra, Food Bank for the Heartland, Heartland Hope Mission, and Heart Ministry Center to end childhood hunger, we will have a bigger role in serving people needing our support with Hope, Dignity, and Compassion” concluded Anthony Steels, Program Supervisor.

Together has humbly helped 18,000 people per year care for one another for the past 37 years and coordinates over 44,000 services each year.  As a homeless prevention agency, Together supplies food, rent and utility assistance, navigation services, furniture and transportation to the greater Omaha area.
