Tickets on Sale for 12th Annual Summer Bash for Childhood Cancer

Sponsored by the Metro Area Youth Foundation, Inc., an all-volunteer organization comprised of Omaha Metro Area Optimist Clubs, the 12th annual Summer Bash for Childhood Cancer (www.SummerBashforCCC.org) will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites La Vista Convention Center. The event will feature a program, dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles and dessert auction.

Cancer is the leading cause of death among young children. Its catastrophic effects hit both the patient and the entire family. Funds raised from this event will support everyday expenses of families going through childhood cancer, pediatric oncology units at Children’s and Nebraska Medical Centers, as well as Camp CoHoLo and Camp Quality Heartland.
